I should be in school.

My father paid my tuition to go to NYU, room and board in the lower east side on down the line. Major in Social Sciences, minor in theatre through one of the Tisch Schools. The Atlantic Acting School. It wasn’t cheap. We weren’t rich, either. Sure my father was successful, and at the moment no long fighting tooth and nail to put food on the table and a roof over our heads, but he always said he had put himself through hell so that I could enjoy my own piece of heaven.

That’s why I should be in school.

I mean, my father loved the business but he made sure that I knew that I was more important to him, his Goldenhawk. In turn, I loved the business that he was apart of as much as I loved him.

My clearest memory of my father, and this is going to sound strange, but it’s of him being thrown from this cage. Thrown by a wrestler named Osyrus. You know who I’m talking about. Hell you probably know what moment I’m talking about. I was thirteen. That moment, it crystallized the danger of what he did, but also the nobility… the excitement. The unmitigated grandeur.

And the pain. They say some parents dream for their children to do better then they did. I want to prove to my father that that dream can come true… even if it’s from me following him into the road to hell that is the professional wrestling business.

I’m the “GoldenHAWK” Aaron Jones Jr., after all.

Legion is my only real school.
